The LMCU600 is a fibre converter designed for the Gigabit Ethernet arena. The LMCU600 offers a low cost conversion of 1000BASE-SX utilising low cost 50/125µm or 62.5/125µm multimode fibre. It provides a maximum range of 550m to a 1000BASE-LX interface, or a range of 10km when used with 9/125µm single-mode fibre.
The LMCU600 is rate agnostic and as such will adapt between single and multimode fibre interfaces at any speed up to the 1.25 Gbps of Gigabit Ethernet. As a standard, duplex SC fibre transceivers are supplied however other options including ST and FC/PC are available on request.
The LMCU600 is offered with a choice of integrated power supplies in AC or DC variants. The base unit may be adapted for rack mounting in a 19 inch rack through either the dual adapter or the 18 unit rack.
