Missing DDC information causes a great deal of trouble when using analogue VGA video signals.
Modern operating systems and graphics adapter cards expect to see DDC/EDID information coming from the sync. If not, problems like blank screens after bootup or reduced resolutions arise, there's no way to fix them. The VGA DDC GHOST Emulator eliminates these troubles by giving the choice of the built-in DDC emulation table or by reading the true EDID information from a display device and writing it into its nonvolatile memory
