The ideal multi-platform KVM switch
The ServSwitch™ CX UNO is based on the ServSwitch™ CX Matrix series, guaranteeing quality video, high build quality and compatibility across server hardware and software platforms.

USB User Interface
Both the local and remote user stations support a USB keyboard and mouse. This means that you can now use your USB keyboard for extended remote access to your switch, something that is otherwise not usually possible with other switches.

8- and 16-port models available
The CX UNO KVM Switch comes in 8- and 16-port versions. Depending on the required interface, Server Access Modules (SAMs) can be chosen from either PS/2, USB or Sun. All platforms are also available with stereo audio support for speakers. Servers can be placed up to 10-m away from the switch with a simple CATx cable used to interconnect.

DDC EDID read and store support
Modern graphic adapter cards - even with analogue output - require the presence of DDC (Display Data Channel) information. Without it, they either do not output any video or output at the lowest supported resolution without any option to change to a higher one. The ServSwitch™ CX UNO reads the DDC information from the attached display and stores it in non-volatile memory in each SAM to avoid DDC issues.

Small form factor
Less than half the width of a standard 19 inch mountable device, the CX UNO can be cascaded to support up to 31 servers in 1U of rack space.

Remote access option via CATx
A remote user can access servers from up to 300 metres away using a single CATx cable by connecting a CX receiver module for PS/2 or USB (KV04-REM or KV04U0REM series).

Remote control option
Like all CX series KVM switches, the CX UNO KVM Switch can be switched remotely via RS-232/V.24 commands. Multiple units can also be switched synchronously, allowing multi-head video support.
